Focus on the In-Betwee



So often when working towards achieving a goal the focus is only on the moment when we are face-to-face with the actual situation, whether that be a race, a game, an element of performance, a wellness habit, etc.


We assess our “success” in whether or not we achieved what we initially established on Day 1.


The element that is lost is all of the progress and strides that were made each day along the way! Having that focus of fast forwarding to the end result can take away the true lessons we learn about ourselves on a daily basis.


Challenge yourself to focus on the “in between”…examine how far you’ve come since day 1, think about how you’ve developed a strong work ethic, consider what you’ve learned about yourself along the way.


The “in between” is where we truly grow and push ourselves to continue to climb to the end goal. Don’t let the in between pass by…embrace it and reflect on it each and every day!
