Today the focus is on goal setting. Goal setting is a process that is necessary for athletes of all ages, no matter the experience level. Without goals, it is challenging to track and monitor progress.


Goals help athletes:


*Enhance motivation

*Improve self-confidence

*Increase focus

*Provide direction

*Enhance the element of control


Goal setting is a step-by-step process (seriously, visualize a staircase!). It’s impossible to jump from the bottom of the staircase all the way to the top of the staircase (the long-term goal). We need to take it one step at a time. Each step is a short-term goal composed of daily action steps.


Your challenge today is to revisit the goals you’ve established.


Restructure them to be SMART:

⭐️Specific

⭐️Measurable

⭐️Attainable

⭐️Realistic

⭐️Time-oriented
