Today’s Mental Reset focus is to add in a 10
minute stretch during your day. Some of you might already include stretching with your training program. The goal today is to set aside an additional time throughout the day to intentionally stretch. Maybe it’s at work, before going to bed, when you wake up, or even for that afternoon energy zap.
This added movement can help you feel in control of yourself, as well as reconnect the mind with the body.
Benefits of stretching include:
⭐️Decreased muscle stiffness
⭐️Posture improvement
⭐️Reduce stress
⭐️Promote muscular relaxation
⭐️Improve circulation
Keeping it simple is the name of the game so for today’s challenge, I encourage you to add in a 10 minute stretch at some point throughout your day and notice how both your mind and body respond!
