JoAnne holds a Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology (Psy.D.) and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. She also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
As a former collegiate field hockey student-athlete, JoAnne recognizes the importance in establishing self-regulation and mental skills proactively for athletes to implement during performance. She has had experience working with a wide range of athletes including youth athletes, high school athletes, collegiate student-athletes, recreational athletes and competitive adult athletes (marathoners, triathletes and Ironmen).
JoAnne’s mission it to understand the unique needs of each client and provide them with a mental skills tool kit for them to implement during performance, as well as throughout their lives.
